A four-member Girls Scouts Team led by Dr Josefina M Parentela, National Secretary of Girls Scouts of the Philippines called on Dhaka University (DU) Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr AAMS Arefin Siddique recently at the latter’s office of the University. Others members of the team were Dr Fe Violeta B Taring, Dr Psyche M Sucaldito and Ma Carmen B Gerundio.
National Commissioner of Bangladesh Girls Guides Association Syeda Rehana Imam and others scouts leaders of the country were present on this occasion.
During the meeting they discussed the possibilities of undertaking teachers, students and scouts exchange program between Bangladesh and Philippines. They emphasized on enhancing cultural exchange programs for strengthening further friendly ties between the two nations.
