Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB)-6, in separate drives recovered phensedyl and sexual tablets from Jibonnagar and Damurhuda upazilas here early Thursday.
Director of Chuadanga BGB-6 Lt Col S M Moniruzzaman said, on a tip – off, a BGB team from Jagannathpur camp led by its Commander Habilder Mintu Sarker raided the Hudapara village under Damurhuda upazila at 5:30 am and seized 1200 pieces of sex- stimulating Indian Senagra tablets in an abandoned condition.
Sensing BGB men’s presence, drug peddlers fled the scene. However, nobody was arrested in this connection.
