Elite force Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested three alleged drug smugglers and recovered 400 bottles of Phensidyle syrup from their possession on Friday night.
The arrested are identified as Mohammad Azad Bhuiyan (40), son of Sheikh Ahamod Bhuiyan, Mohammad Manik Mian (24), son of Shariat Ullah and Mohammad Imam Hossain (34), son of Monu Mian.
According to the sources, a team of RAB stopped a Chittagong bound truck (Number- Feni- Ta- 11-0317) at Pahartoli area at around 1 am on Friday night.
