The anti-smuggling teams of BGB in separate drives seized 560 bottles of phensidyl syrups and 70,000 pieces of cow fattening tablets from Borogram frontier area in Sadar upazila and Hakimpur upazila on Thursday.
An-anti smuggling patrol team of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) in a drive seized 560 bottles of phensidyl syrup from Borogram frontier area in Sadar upazila, the BGB sources said.
Acting on a tip-off, another team of BGB recovered 70,000 pieces of cow fattening tablets after searching a railway compartment of Parbatipur bound train from Rajshahi.
A case was recorded with Hakimpur GRP thana in this connection, the BGB added.
