A Ph.D seminar titled ‘Treatment of Woman in Islam and Shakespeare’ was held at Islamic University in Kushtia on Thursday at the faculty building conference room.
It was organized by English department of the university.
Assistant Professor of English department Asgor Hossain who is the Ph.D researcher was presented two articles.
His research supervisor Prof Dr M Maher Ali and Co-Supervisor Professor Dr Mostak Muhammad were present.
Dean of Humanities and Social Science faculty, Professor Ruhul Amin was present as the chief guest with the chairman of English department Professor AHM Aktarul Islam in the chair.
Professor Harun-Ur-Rashid Askari was present as the key note speaker and Professor M Mizanur Rahman and Professor M Mamunur Rahman were present as special discussants.

Proctor Professor Dr Mahbubur Rahman and Students Advisor Professor Dr Anowar Hossain.
