A mobile court of Chittagong District Administration yesterday fined and sealed off a pharmacy depot and seized huge quantities of date expired medicine from city’s station road area.
Assistant Commissioner of Chittagong District Administration Mohammad Ruhul Amin led the mobile court at station Road area of Kotwali thana and fined the Pharmacy depot owner TK 50 thousand for keeping unauthorized and date expired medicines and food supplements of different medicine companies.
The mobile court also seized huge quantities of date expired medicine worth about TK five lakh during the drive.
The pharmacy owner were fined under Drug Act 1940, the executive magistrate added.
