Permission needed to hold Press confce on SC premises

Staff Reporter :The Supreme Court (SC) has imposed a ban on holding press conference on the court’s premises without permission.Confirming the matter, Sabbir Foyez, Additional Registrar of High Court Division told The New Nation on Monday evening that no press conference can be arranged in SC premises without prior permission of the SC administration.He said, “Permission is a must in order to hold any press conference on the SC premises. No press conference will be allowed without prior permission.”However, the Registrar said permission will not be needed to hold press conference at the Supreme Court Lawyers’ Association building.
