Eight media houses reached the quarterfinals of the Pepsi-DRU Media Cricket Tournament on Thursday. They are: Inqilab, Alokito Bangladesh, Channel 24, Ittefaq, Maasranga TV, Channel i, Jamuna TV and Bangla Vision.
In the day’s matches, Inqilab crushed Sakaler Khabar by 66 runs riding on Rahenur Islam’s hat-trick, Alokito Bangladesh edged past RTV by three runs, Channel 24 defeated Daily Observer by 40 runs, Ittefaq thrashed Samakal by four wickets, Maasranga TV overpowered Ajker Patrika by 80 runs, Channel i beat Manabkantha by one wicket, Jamuna TV defeated banglamail24.net by 18 runs, Bangla Vision beat GTV by seven runs at the Moulana Bhashani National Hockey Stadium.
