Channel 24 and Channel i reached the final of the Pepsi-DRU Media Cricket Tournament on Sunday.
Channel 24 will face Channel i in the final today at 10.30 am.
In the day’s first semifinal, Channel 24 beat Bangla Vision by three wickets at the Moulana Bhashani National Hockey Stadium. Rashed Nizam of Channel 24 was adjudged the Man of the Match.
In the day’s second semifinal, Channel i defeated Alokito Bangladesh by five wickets at the same venue. Rahul of Channel i was adjudged the Man of the Match.
After the semifinal matches, Director of Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) Enayet Hossain Siraj distributed the prizes of the Man of the Match.
President of Dhaka Reporters Unity (DRU) Shakhawat Hossain Badshah, General Secretary of DRU Elias Hossain, Sports Secretary of DRU Badrul Alam Chowdhury, Co-Chairman of the Tournament Committee Shafiqul Islam Shamim and Member Secretary of the Tournament Committee Mohiuddin Polash were present at the time.
