People’s rights established at cost of Bangabandhu’s blood: Mosharraf

Housing and Public Works Minister Engineer Mosharraf Hossain on Wednesday said that the people’s rights and the protest against injustice were mixed into the blood of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
“His whole life was geared up by struggle that was proved in full throughout his career,” he told as the chief guest at a discussion at Rajdhani Unnayan Katripakhha (RAJUK) auditorium here.
RAJUK Sramik-Karmachari League organized the meeting marking the 42nd martyrdom anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and the National Mourning Day.
Chaired by RAJUK Sramik-Karmachari League president MA Malek, the discussion was also addressed, among others, by Housing and Public Works Secretary M Shahidullah Khandker, RAJUK chairman M Abdur Rahman, Jatiya Sramik League president Shukkur Mahmood and general secretary M Sirajul Islam.
The minister said the heinous killers, who brutally assassinated Bangabandhu on August 15, wanted to take the lives all who were inextricably linked with the blood of Father of the Nation.
