Awami League (AL) Presidium Member and 14-party alliance spokesperson Mohammed Nasim on Saturday said the countrymen will stand again with head high overcoming the COVID-19 pandemic the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
“The crisis triggered by the global pandemic coronavirus will end very soon. Under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, the people of the country will stand again with head high,” he said. The AL leader made the remarks while inaugurating a programme of distribution of Eid gifts among poor people at Pipulbaria Primary School ground at Bagbati union in Sirajganj district through a video conferencing from his city residence.
Noting that the government as well as the AL leaders and workers are reaching out foodstuffs to the doorsteps of the people across the country during this crisis period, Nasim said none will suffer from hungry as long as AL is in the state power.
Highlighting different initiatives of the government to contain the fatal coronavirus, he urged the people to stay-at-home for betterment of all.
