Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader on Saturday said the home-bound people are reaching their destinations comfortably during this Eid.
“The home-bound people are reaching their destinations more comfortably and smoothly than in the past and there is no allegation of realising extra fare,” he told the newsmen while visiting Gabtoli Bus Terminal in the city.
Quader, also the General Secretary of the ruling party, said the people of North Bengal are reaching their homes comfortably this year as the road of Chandra area on the Dhaka-Tangail highway is batter compared to its condition in last 10 years.
Urging the drivers to run their vehicles carefully, he said caution can avert accident. The minister also advised the passengers not to ride vehicles risking their lives.
