Vice Chairman of BNP and former Minister Abdullah al Noman said people of the country is only force of BNP not bullet or otherwise ill forces. He was addressing a workers meeting held at Halishahar incity on Friday evening as chief guest.
In ob servance of the 22nd death anniversary of Chhatra Dal leaders Sajjad Ali, Md. Nazmul and Khorshed Alam, Halishahar ward BNP arranged this reminiscence meeting.
BNP senior leader Noman reiterated that autocratic govt of former President Ershad tried to sustain his power with police , bullets and forces of arms but he was compelled to leave the power with the movement of the general people.
Now Awamileague govt is trying to remain in state power using administrative bureaucrats and police, rab etc through curbing the rights of the medias and judiciaries but their dream will not be fulfilled.
He said present govt is not giving any types of permission for meetings, rallies and other democratic rights and lastly the oppositions will be compelled to hold their meetings, processions, without any permission as we are the citizens of a independent, sovereign country.
He called upon the BNP and its front organizations to intensify the movement with joint movement sinking any differences among the party leaders and workers aimed at downing the present facist govt.
