People in judiciary urged to work sincerely

Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Anisul Huq urged all the people concerned in judiciary to work sincerely, saying they would not get the real respect from the people until they provide justice to them.
“When development takes place in the judiciary, its independence gets strengthened and also the four principles of the state get well established, the three main organs of the state can work appropriately and democracy can be practiced correctly,” he said. The minister said these on Thursday while addressing an online function to inaugurate newly constructed four storied chief judicial magistrate court building in Patuakhali, an official press release said.
“The matter of freedom of judiciary is inseparably linked with rule of law. That is why Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s government is working sincerely to establish rule of law by ensuring a standard judiciary,” the law minister added.
Presided over by Patuakhali District and Sessions Judge Rokhsana Pervin, the function was also addressed by lawmakers Md Shahjahan Miah, ASM Feroz, SM Shahjada, Md Mohibur Rahman, Qazi Kanij Sultana, Law and Justice Division Secretary Md Golam Sarwar, deputy commissioner Md Motiul Islam Chowdhury and Chief Judicial Magistrate Md Jamal Hossain, among others.
