Leaders of different socio-cultural, political and business organizations have hailed the proposed national budget for the fiscal 2018-2019 terming it a pro-people, pragmatic and development oriented one.
The leaders said the government under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has presented the ever bigger budget with a view to building a poverty and exploitation free ‘Sonar Bangla’ as dreamt by Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
Talking to the BSS, president of Netrakona District Chamber of Commerce and Industries Abdul Wahed said the proposed national budget is a business and investment friendly realistic fiscal plan.
President of Netrakona NagoriK Andolone Khan-A -Alam Khan termed the national budget pragmatic and development-oriented and said it will help create opportunities for advancement of the commercial sector.
Netrakona District Awami League President Motiur Rahman Khan and General Secretary Ashraf Ali Khan Khasru also hailed the proposed national budget They said the national budget would help the people to change their lifestyleand improve their socio-economic condition.
BSS from Khulna adds: Educationists, entrepreneurs and leaders of different socio-cultural organisations and political parties today hailed the proposed budget for the fiscal 2018-2019 terming it as a pragmatic anddevelopment-oriented.
This budget is a step towards turning the country into a middle-income one by2021 and develop country by 2041, they commented.
In a reaction General Secretary of Khulna Development Action Coordination Committee (GKDACC) Sheikh Ashrafuzzaman termed the proposed budget for fiscal2018-2019 as a business, investment-friendly and highly ambitious one.
“There are a lot of new programmes, incorporated in the budget to cope with the present tougher economic situation and industrialization”, he added.
President of Shacheton Nagarik Committee (SANAK) educationist Professor Anwarul Kadir termed the proposed budget for the fiscal year 2018-19 as highly ambitious, development oriented, political and election budget which would create opportunities for businessmen and private sectors.
He also thanked the government for increasing social safety net for the people of rural areas, rootless and landless people of the city.
Hailing the proposed budget, Khulna Awami League leaders in a statement said the pro-people budget would play a significant role to boost up the economy, poverty alleviation, improvement of quality education, empowerment of women establishing a Digital Bangladesh.
