Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina introduced the digitalization program aimed at turning the Digital Bangladesh and the people of country now getting the benefits of this program. He disclosed it while addressing the discussion meeting in observance of National Social Services Day at Chittagong Threatre Institute Hall in city on Monday morning as Chief Guest.
District administration, Social Services Department and other non-govt development organization in the port city jointly observed the day on Monday.
Social Welfare Officer Paruma Begum delivered address of welcome in it.
At the conclusion session of the discussion , the chief guest distributed honorary certificates to the noted social personalities for their contribution in social activities.
In observance of the day, a colourful procession brought out in the city led by the Deputy commissioner Md. Shamsul Arefin , sources said.
