“Availability of easy services and awareness campaigns helped the fair get huge response,” NBR official.
NBR is holding the event for the ninth year to provide assistance to individual taxpayers to complete their tax-related formalities for the year and encourage people in paying tax.
On Friday, the tax fair show took place in 56 districts and three upazilas apart from all divisional cities. In Dhaka and Chittagong, the event is going on at Officers Club and at GEC Convention Centre respectively.
The fair will remain open from 9am to 5pm every day, including Friday and Saturday, said the NBR.
