Pedestrian’s awareness programme launched

Traffic police of Chattogram Metropolitan Police launched awareness increasing programme among the pedestrians and the divers of the vehicles in the city on Saturday.
In opening day of the programs, traffic police launched this awareness drill at Tiger-pass and New Market crossing. The members of the Traffic department of CMP advised the pedestrians to take care while crossing the road, to refrain from using head phone and mobile phone while walking or cross the road , to use footpath and not to ride on running city bus .
They also asked the drivers of vehicles to keep all necessary MV documents in the vehicle, maintain speed limit of transports . use of seat belt and to refrain from use of horn unnecessarily.
In the opening session of the awareness program, Deputy Police Commissioner(Traffic) Harunur Rashid, Additional Dy Commissioner(Traffic) Nazmul Hasan and senior officials of CMP were present on the occasion.
