A tragic death of a pedestrian was reported after being hit by a pick-up in Moulvibazar’s Kamalganj. The incident took place at Watermil area on Kamalganj-Munsibazar Road on Thursday night.
According to local sources, Sudhan Malakar (62), a vegetable trader of Debipur village in Rahimpur union, was returning home by CNG from Munsibazar. He got off the CNG at Watermill area and reversed while crossing the road
A pickup from Pran Company (Dhaka Metro-No 16-3536) hit him. He was seriously injured and died on the spot. On receiving information, a team of Kamalganj police visited the spot.

Munsibazar UP Chairman Nahid Ahmed Tarafdar confirmed the truth of the incident and said that the body has been sent to the police station. The cremation will be done after the autopsy.
