PEC results on Dec 30

The results o.f Primary Education Completion (PEC) and Ebtedayee examinations will be published on December 30.
Primary and Mass Education Minister Mostafizur Rahman will hand over the result sheet to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at Ganabhaban on that day, Primary and Mass Education Ministry spokesman Rabindranath Roy said.

Education Minister will officially announce the results at his ministry in the afternoon the same day.  
A total of 30, 96,075 students took part in this year’s PSC and its madrasa equivalent Ebtedayee examinations.
Among them, 28, 04,509 examinees — 12, 99,985 males and 15, 04,524 females — appeared in the PSC examinations.
On the other hand, 2, 91,566 students appeared in the Ebtedayee examinations this year. Of them, 1, 53,152 were males and 1, 38,414 females.
The examinations took place at more than 7,212 centres including 12 overseas centres.
The total number of this year’s examinees are 1, 34,213 less than those of the previous year. Last year, 32, 30,288 students appeared in the examinations.
The examinations began on November 19 and ended on November 26.
