Premier Volleyball: PDB retain title beating Titas Club 3-2

The Power Development Board (PDB) retained the National Bank Limited Metropolis Premier Division Volleyball title beating Titas Club by 22-25, 26-24, 25-12, 18-16 points in a keenly contested match at the Dhaka Volleyball Stadium on Saturday.
It was the 3rd consecutive and overall 4th Premier Division Volleyball League crown for the PDB.
Titas Club, the champions of the 2011-12 season, finished runners-up in the league for the 9th time and 3rd time in a row. Border Guard Bangladesh became 3rd and Bangladesh Police was placed 4th in the league.
State Minister for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Nasrul Hamid MP witnessed the day’s title deciding last league match as the chief guest and later he distributed the prizes.
Managing Director and CEO of the league sponsor National Bank Limited Shamsul Huda Khan was also present as a special guest.
Harjit Biswas of PDB was adjudged the best attacker, Bhasha of Titas Club best setter and Farid of Bangladesh Police was named as the best defender of the league.
