Former city mayor and President of Chittagong city unit of Awamileague ABM Mohiuddin chowdhury said Power Development Board is one of the successful service sector of the govt among others.
Following the relentless efforts of the present govt, power sector now stands at a better positions. He disclosed it while addressing the National Power & Engergy Week-2016 function held at Agrabad Bidduyut Bhaban in city as chief guest. The chief guest inaugurated the week celebrations through releasing ballons and piegons at the venue . A colourful rally was brought out from the premises of Bidduyut Bhaban.
Following the rally, discussion meet was held at its auditorium, sources said. Superintending Engineer of PDB, chittagong zone Mokbul Hossain conducted the programs and the Project Director of System Development Project Engr. Abdul Motalib delivered the address of welcome on the occasion, sources added.
