The Board of Directors of Pubali Bank Limited appointed Md. Sayeed Ahmed FCA, Mohammad Ali and Akhtar Hamid Khan as Deputy Managing Director (DMD) of the bank recently.
Before assumption to his new position, Md. Sayeed Ahmed FCA was serving the bank as its Chief Financial Officer. He joined the bank in the year 2007 as a Financial Analyst for strengthening and streamlining the credit risk management of the bank, said a press release.
Ahmed has been working to foster and strengthen the bank’s capacity in various aspects with special emphasis to financial administration, credit risk management, treasury management, investment management, core risk management, structured financing, triple bottom line management, etc. He completed his masters with honors in Accounting from University of Dhaka. Prior to his promotion as Deputy Managing Director, Mohammad Ali was General Manager and Chief Technical Officer of the same bank. He served as the Head of Information Technology Division, General Services and Development Division, Research and Development Division and Public Relations cell of Pubali Bank Ltd.
