Mobile court of Power Development Board, Chittagong Circle issued summons against 13 consumers in city for outstanding bill payment and illegal connections.
The mobile court was conducted on Sunday last led by Senior Judicial Magistrate Md. Masudul Hoque under Chittagong PDB Court(South) . The court was conducted under Sales and Distribution division of Khulsi. Senior Assistant Director of PDB Md. Moniruzzaman told that non-payment of arrear bills and illegal connections, these summons were issued against 13 consumers.
Executive engineer of Khulsi Division Engr Md Harun, Sub Divisional Engr. Md. Shah Rewaz, Md. Abdul Kader accompanied the mobible court. Mentionable that similar mobile court was conducted on January 26 and February 12 last under Khulsi Division and realised penalty and filed cases under PDB act, sources said.
