Monirampur Hospital facing manifold problems: Patients deprived of medicare facilities

Monirampur Upzila Health Complex has been running with manifold problems for a long time depriving treatment to the local people .
 Patients alleged that shortage of doctors, medical instruments, medicines are causing problems to the patients and they are being deprived of proper treatment.
According to sources, a good number of patients have been attending at the 50- bed hospital for treatment at indoor and outdoor but many of them are to go to another hospital or clinic due to shortage of doctor .
Mentionable, out of 26 doctors only 15 are working at present. .Most of the doctors attend at the office on late. Not only that ,they are also practicing at private clinic.
 Emergence medical officers are absent in the most of the working day hampering the emergence treatment.
On the other hand , Sanitary Department of the Health Complex is running with evil practice.
When reporters asked about the public complains to Dr. Shahadat Hossen, Civil Surgeon told The New Nation that he got written complain and he well look into the matter .
