Patients decrease at Barishal SBMCH

Numbers of admitted dengue infected patients continued to decease at Barishal Sher- E -Bangla Medical College Hospital.
According to Dr Bakir Hossain, Director SBMCH, said, in last 24 hours on August 21 Wednesday noon, 45 dengue infected patients including 30 male, 10 female and 5 children, admitted at the hospital.
Total 147 dengue infected patients including 94 male, 27 female and 26 children were under treatment at SBMCH on Wednesday.
Besides, 70 admitted dengue patients including 40 male, 25 female and 5 children also released from this hospital after treatment within last 24 hours on Wednesday.
Dr. Bakir Hossain, Director SBMCH, said according to the SBMCH admission register total number dengue infected patients from July 16 to August 21 noon were 1373 and among them 5 became dead, 1226 released after treatment.

2,549 dengue patients return home after recovery
BSS from Khulna adds: A total of 2,549 dengue patients, who were admitted to different hospitals in 10 districts of Khulna division, have returned home after recovery.
“A total of 3,151 patients infected with the mosquito-borne disease have left hospitals so far,” Additional Director Dr Ferdousi Akter, Director of Health in Khulna Division Office said yesterday.
As many as 3,151patients so far were diagnosed with dengue fever in different hospitals in the division, the hospitals sources said. However, 8 people died from the disease.
A total of 504 patients are undergoing treatment in different hospitals and clinics in the division.
A total of 152 new dengue patients were admitted to different hospitals in the last 24 hours while 98 patients have been referred to hospitals in Dhaka city..
