A patient died for alleged wrong treatment at Arappur area in Jhenidah district town on Friday. The concerned quack was arrested. This incident occurred on Friday morning .
The victim is Arif Hossain, 26 , son of Hanif Hossain of Arappur area of the town.
The quack is identified as Gourapada Biswas of Hamdah area of the town.
Arif Hossain had been suffering from piles for long. He went to Gourapada on Monday morning for treatment. He served some medicine to Arif. Taking this medicine Arif felt sick. Instantly, he had been admitted to Jhenidah Sadar Hospital. As his condition deteriorated, he had been referred to Faridpur medical college and hospital. After medical test the doctors declared that his both kidney had got damaged due to wrong treatment.
