Passport Services Week launched in Kishoreganj, Sylhet

The Passport Services Week is being observed in the Sylhet district on Sunday as elsewhere of the country.
A view-exchange meeting was held at the Pabna regional passport office this morning marking the week.
Sylhet DC Dr. Nazmanara Khanum spoke at the meeting as Chief Guest while director of Sylhet passport office AKM Mazharul Islam presided over the meeting.
DAD Forid Uddin, Josim Uddin, Tawfiqur Rahman, among others, attended the function.
The Divisional Commissioner said we have promised to provide service people fairly without any kind of sufferings.
Marking the week, the regional passport office provided official services to the passport seekers coming from different upazilas of the district cordially without making any harassment.
The official services included issuing and re-issuing machine readable passports and other activities like information correction into the passport.
Staff Reporter, Kishoreganj adds: The Passport and Immigration Department , Kishoreganj Regional Office arranged a colourful rally, discussion, mela and cultural function marking the National Passport Service Week on Sunday. Additional Deputy Commissioner (Gen) Tarafder Md. Akhter Jamil and Civil Surgeon Dr. Habibur Rahman and NSI Deputy Director Md. Al Amin launched the programme as chief and special guest while Assistant Director Modushodun Sarker presided over .It was addressed among others by Assistant Director of Consumers Rights Protect Department Ibrahim Hossen, PP Shah Azizul Hoque, Sadar Upazila Awami League President Adv Ataur Rahman, Islamic Foundation Deputy Director Faruq Ahmed, Senior Journalist Saiful Hoque Mollah Dulu, CAB President Alam Sarowar Tito and Deputy Civil Surgeon Dr. Mujibur Rahman. Additional Deputy Commissioner (Gen) Tarafder Md. Akhter Jamil urged upon the officers and staff of the office to discharge earnment had taken zero tolerance following any irregularities by any of the service providers of republic. A colourfull rally brought out in the town marking the passport service week.
