The passing out parade of the 161st batch of trainee constables was held at the parade ground of Bangladesh Police Academy (BPA) at Sarda in Rajshahi on Sunday.
BPA Principal Nazibur Rahman attended the ceremony as the chief guest.
Speaking on the occasion, the chief guest called upon the newly recruited constables to devote themselves to eliminate crimes including militancy and terrorism for ensuring peace and security in the society.
Earlier, the chief guest reviewed the smartly turned out parade and took salute at the impressive march past.
He also distributed awards among five entry constables for their outstanding performance in the training.
