The hartal picketers torched a city passenger bus by pouring petrol yesterday. The incident occurred at CEPZ crossing in city on Wednesday night.
None was affected in the fire as there was no passengers and driver in the bus.The bus was parked there. Station officer of Fire service of Agrabad Bishanta Barua told that a standby passenger bus infront of CEPZ gate was torched by the hartal supporters at about 7 pm on Wednesday.
Sensing the news of fire, fire mobile unit rushed to the spot immediately and doused the fire after half an hour .
