Paritosh Sarker has been elevated to the post of General Manager of the Bangladesh Development Bank Limited (BDBL). The promotion was made recently, says a BDBL statement.
Sarker started his banking career at the then Arab Bangladesh Bank Limited, now AB Bank Ltd. in 1991 as a probationary officer.
Afterward he joined Dutch-Bangla Bank Limited (DBBL). He also worked as head of branch at the AB Bank and DBBL.
He worked at Probashi Kallyan Bank prior to joining the BDBL. An MBA (Maj HRMD) from Victoria University, Bangladesh, he completed graduation and post-graduation in Statistics at Jahangirnagar University. Sarker is also an ACI (Paris) certified treasury dealer.
