In observance of the International Mother Language Day and Amar Ekushey, Parents Care School and College ,Chittagong observed the Day in a befitting manner.
At the same time, prize distributions of the annual sports competitions of the school was also held in the morning session of the day with Principal Md. Nurul Islam in the chair.
Divisional Govt Representative of Bangladesh Homeopathy Board Dr.Saleh Ahmed Suleman graced the occasion as Chief Guest.
Rector of Azizur Rahman Homeopathic Medical College and Chairman of Chittagong Education Welfare Foundation Principal Dr Abdul Karim inaugurated the day- long Ekushey programs as inaugurator.
Secretary General of the Foundation Prof.Dr.Abul Kalam Azad , Prof Dr Jaharlal Bhattachariya, Prof. Dr. Subal Achariya and Prof Dr Sarwar Alam graced the occasion as special guests.
The chief guest in his brief deliverations expressed proudness over celebrating the International Mother Language Day across the world as the people of Bangaldesh demanded Bangla as state language of the erstwhile Pakistan and the sacrificed their lives for Bangla Language movement on 21 February, 1952 .
With the continuation of movement for Bangla, the whole world is celebrating the day as International Mother Language Day . He stressed the need of introducing Bangla language in all respects .
