A man paralysed by accident was burned to death in a fierce fire at Kholshi Haldarpara village in Daulatpur upazila on Saturday night.
The deceased was identified as Joynal Sheikh, 40, son of Badaruddin of the village.
Witnesses and family sources said the fire originated from an unknown origin at the house of Joinal Sheikh in the area around 10:30pm, leaving Joinal, bed-ridden for paralysis due to an accident, dead on the spot.
However, his other family members were outside the house during the incident.
Shawkat Alam, officer-in-charge of Daulatpur Police Station, confirmed the incident.
