Paptech Expo ends

Drawing a huge response among the visitors and people concerned the three day Peptech Expo-2019 ends on Saturday in Dhaka.
Leading paper technology supplying companies, paper producing houses like
MRBD Paptech Limited, Lina Group, Partex Limited, took part in the fair.
Although no exact figure was not available but many of the participants told that they have received some new orders from the expo
“Country’s biggest paper producing organisations like Meghna Group, Bashundhara Group, Partex Group, Lina Group etc. are supplied with technological support by the MRBD Paptech Limited”, said Chairman of the MRBD Paptech Ltd, Md. Manzil Hossain Khan.
Mentioning that the fair mainly aimed at attracting new entrepreneurs in the paper industry, he said there have a total of 106 paper producing industries in the country of the at least 70 organisations have passing busiest time in production round the clock.
Mr. Khan said there have huge demand of power saving technology in the paper industry and the MRBD is only organisation who is supplying power saving technology.
“We are supplying almost all machineries that is needed in a paper industry, it’s an one stop solution we are providing”, Manzil added.
Managing Director of a Paper producing house, Arif Ahmed told that he dreamt for long to do trading with commodities like tissue paper, diaper, so now he has got an opportunity to experience practically the machineries of the industry, so it’s a great support for him to move forward rapidly.
“The demand of diaper for the children is increasing in our country, there have scope of earning better profit in this sector, I wanted to visit China to watch machineries but now I have got the opportunity to see lot of modern machineries here”, he added.
A total of 150 local and overseas organizations took part in the expo from 17 countries. They showcase Pulp, Paper, paper producing machineries, packaging, converting chemical and other equipments and machineries related to the paper industry.
Pantho Shaha, general manager of Lina Group, told that he has been in this industry for the last 20 years.
“Lina has been fortunate to produce paper through automation system first ever in the country. Today a silent revolution has taken place in the country’s paper industry”, Pantha Shaha said.
He also said that the country is now producing world class paper even Textbooks is also being produced with own paper, whereas a few years ago the country had to import paper from outside.
