A Dhaka Court yesterday placed two cohorts of expelled Jubo Mohila League leader Shamima Nur Papiya alias Peu on a five days’ fresh remand.
Magistrate Mohammad Didar Hossain of the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (CMM) Court of Dhaka passed the order on Sunday.
The accused persons are Sabbir Khandakar and Sheikh Taiba Nur. Earlier, Investigation Officer M Saiful Islam produced the two accused in the court seeking 10 days’ remand.
On Saturday, Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) detained four members of a gang of currency counterfeiters including Papiya and seized fake currencies of various countries from under their possession at Dhaka Airport.
