To mark the birth centenary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman a panel discussion on `Life of Bangabandhu’ was held on Monday at National Defence College (NDC) in Mirpur Cantonment in the city.
The session was moderated by the Board of Trustee of Liberation War Museum Mafidul Haque, said a press release.
At the panel discussion session, Prof Shamsuzzaaman Khan, Former Director General of Bangla Academy, Muhammad Zamir, Former Ambassador and Dr. Atiur Rahman, Former Governor of Bangladesh Bank presented keynote papers on `Bangabandhu as Politician’, Bangabandhu as Statesman’ and `Bangabandhu as Leader’ respectively.
The discourse highlighted different aspects of the Life of Bangabandhu such as his political career, his statesmanship, his visionary leadership which drew attention of the audience and inspired the future leaders.
Among others, Commandant NDC, Lieutenant General Sheikh Mamun Khaled, Faculty Members and Course Members of NDC 2020 were present at the session.
