Local Awami League leader Mohammad Manik Akand, a member of the district council, on Saturday donated Tk one lakh for the renovation and development of Panchbibi Press Club in Joypurhat.
He said if the renovation work is strafed with this money, more allocation would be given later if necessary. Manik Akand, a member of the district council, was thanked on behalf of the Panchbibi Press Club for giving a grant to the press club. Abdul Halim Sabu, President of the Press Club, received the grant letter signed by Md. Atul Mandal, Chief Executive Officer of the District Council under the ADB General Allocation for the financial year 2019-2020.
