The 22nd birthday of Channel i is on October 1. To celebrate the day, the channel will telecast special episode of its regular musical programme Palki. To be hosted by Dithi Anwar and to be directed by Jamal Reza, Sohel Mehedi, Champa Banik, Sabbir Zaman, Zinia Zafrin Luipa, Momin Biswas, among others, took part in the special episode.
Ekushey Award winner noted lyricist, film director, storywriter and producer Gazi Mazharul Anwar will be also present as usual on the occasion.
While talking about the special episode Gazi Mazharul Anwar said, “My written popular songs were rendered by the participant singers in Palki. There are some songs were not popular among the listeners, which are now being rendered by the singers in the programme.”
Dithi Anwar said, “It is really a great luck for me that I am hosting my father written songs in the programme. In fact, I heard background stories of the songs during childhood. So, when the participant singers render these songs I can recall my childhood memories. I also feel comfortable to host the show.”
Singer Luipa said, “It is great luck for me I got the ooprtunity to render an original song written by Gazi Mazharul Anwar Sir. For Palki I also got the scope his written popular songs in the programme.”
