State Minister for ICT Division Zunaid AhmedPalak was elected unofficially by a huge margin from Natore-3 constituency in the 11th parliamentary elections held on Sunday. Election Commission (EC) Secretary Helal Uddin Ahmed announced the unofficial results of the constituency on Sunday night. Palak, as a ruling Awami League candidate, bagged 2,30,327 votes with ‘boat’ symbol while his nearest contestant from BNP Daudar Mahmud secured 8,841 votes with the ‘sheaf of paddy’ symbol. Of the total 2,76,170 eligible voters, 2, 41,598 cast their ballots in total 118 polling stations.
