Pakistan set a 214-run target against co-host Australia in the third quarterfinal of ICC Cricket World Cup 2015. Pakistan skipper Misbah-ul-Haq won the toss and elected to bat first Friday at Adelaide Oval. From the beginning Pakistan batsmen faced tough time to score runs against Australia. As openers Ahmed Shehzad and Sarfraz Ahmed went back to pavilion for only 5 and 10 runs respectively, first-down batsman Haris Sohail and skipper Misbah helmed the Pakistani innings till Misbah was dismissed on his personal 34 runs. Pakistan, the 1992 champion, retained the same lineup which finished off the pool stage with a win over Ireland at Adelaide last weekend. Four-time champion Australia made one change to the lineup which beat Scotland in its last pool match, with Josh Hazlewood coming in for Pat Cummins in the pace attack.
