Pakistani High Commissioner to Bangladesh Shuja Alam on Thursday called on National Parliament Speaker and Chairperson of executive committee of Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA) Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury at the latter’s office here.
During the meeting, they discussed different aspects of parliaments of both the countries and their respective parliamentary system. The Pakistani envoy congratulated the Speaker for being elected as the Chairperson of CPA’s executive committee.
