To mark the 47th anniversary of the Victory Day of Bangladesh and to commemorate the role of former Soviet Union (USSR) in Bangladesh during the Liberation War in 1971, Serov Academy of Fine Arts in cooperation with the Russian Center of Science & Culture (RCSC) in Dhaka has organized a painting exhibition at the Exhibition Hall of RCSC in Dhanmondi area on December 15. Renowned Artist Samarjit Roy Chowdhury was present as the chief guest and also inaugurated the exhibition.
Alexander P Demin, Head of Russian Center of Science & Culture in Dhaka, was present as the special guest, while Natalia Demina was also present as Guest of Honour on the occasion. The exhibition continued till December 16, Victory Day. Total participants of this exhibition were 127 with their 150 artworks.
