Akshay Kumar starrer PadMan which was
scheduled to release on 25th January and was set for a clash with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus Padmaavat has now shifted its release date. Now the film will be released on 9th February. Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Akshay Kumar held a joint press conference to call off PadMan – Padmaavat clash.
Sanjay Leela Bhansali said in the press
conference, “We requested Akshay to move the release date of his film ahead, he agreed. We will be grateful to him
for a lifetime.”
Meanwhile, Akshay said that there is no point of clashing now, adding, “His (Bhansali) need is more for this date
than mine.”
