On January 21, Padatik Nattya Sangsad turned into 43. On the occasion of its 42nd founding anniversary, the theatre group staged its production Gunjan Bibir Pala at the main theatre hall of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy on that day.
Ma Hamid, Syed Ishtiaq Hossain Titu, Ahmed Gias, Jhuna Chowdhury, Chandan Reza, among others, were present and also spoke before staging the play. Kazi Rafique hosted the event. Several members of Theatre Art Unit presented their performances to inspire the Padatik Nattya Sangsad. Dance artiste Ferdous Hasan and his group presented dance performance on the occasion. Later Padatik’s play Gunjan Bibir Pala was staged.
The play was directed by Sayeek Siddiqui. The cast of the play includes Mominul Haque Dipu, Moshiur Rahman, Saida Shamshi Ara, Sakhawat Hossain Shimul, Salman Shuvo, Ikram, Chamok Tara, Shariful Islam, Jitu, Joba, Shovon, Pranto, Roza, among others.
