Country’s one of the celebrated theatre groups
to associate with the Bangladesh Group Theatre Federation and Sammilito Sangskritik Jote, Padatik Nattya Sangsad celebrated its 45th founding
anniversary. On this occasion, the theatre group
hosted the awarding ceremony of Kochi Smriti Sommanona 2022 on Friday. Their much-appreciated play Prerona, based on the theme of autism,
was also staged on the occasion.
Ekushey Padak winning noted writer, publisher and freedom-fighter Mofidul Hoque and Ekushey Padak winning noted television personality Lucky Enam were the recipients for this year’s Kochi Smriti Sommanona. The production of play, Prerona was written and directed by Sabil Reza Chowdhury.
The casts of the play included Samia Choudhury, Sadia Maknun, Mamun Abdullah, Doli Akhter,
Iqbal Noor, Talukder Maniruzzaman Milton, Kamal Hossain, among others.
