Staff Reporter :The condition of former minister and Awami League lawmaker Latif Siddiqui is improving after installation of a pacemaker in his body on Sunday, said Pran Gopal Datta, Vice Chancellor of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University [BSMMU]. Earlier, on Saturday he was taken to Coronary Care Unit [CCU] of BSMMU after his condition deteriorated.”His pulse and blood pressure are normal. However, we have to wait for 120 hours [five days] to get a final result. Now he is under close observation,” the VC added.
