UNB, Pabna :
A local Jubo League leader, who sustained injuries in a gun attack at Pushpapara Bazar on Pabna-Nagarbari highway on Saturday night, died on Sunday morning, raising the death toll from the incident to four.
The deceased was identified as Rafiqul Islam, a leader of Ataikula than unit Jubo League and son of Sirajul Islam of Dharmagram.
Three leaders of Awami League and its front
organizations- Sultan, 37, Fazlu, 35, and Sumon, 38-were killed and two others injured in a gun attack by some criminals at Pushpapara Bazar around 8:30 pm on Saturday.
Injured Rafiqul and Maumn were admitted to Pabna Medical College Hospital. Doctors referred Rafiqul to Dhaka as his condition deteriorated. Rafiqul succumbed to his injuries on way to Dhaka around 6 am.
