Chanchal Chowdhury starrer Monpura is one of the milestone movies in the country’s film
history. It was Gias Uddin Selim directed his first movie. Directors, who casted Chanchal Chowdhury in their debut movies, they got commercially success and popularity from the viewers. After Gias Uddin Selim, Amitabh Reza Chowdhury and Anam Biswas got successes to take Chanchal in their movies Aynabaji and Debi respectively.
According to Chanchal, viewers were little bit informed about recently released Gias Uddin Selim directed and Chanchal acted movie Paap Punnyo due to lack of propoer promotion of the movie. For this reason, few numbers of viewers watched this movie. Chanchal got huge response from the audience for his outstanding performance in the movie Paap Punnyo. On Wednesday, trailer of Chanchal acted and Mejbaur Rahman Sumon directed movie Hawa was released. Chanchal’s look and presence for few moments in the trailer of the movie made interest among the viewers for watching this movie.
While talking about Paap Punnyo and Hawa, Chanchal Chowdhury said, “I got huge response for Paap Punnyo. But its promotion was not up to the mark. For this reason, few numbers of viewers watched this movie. But this less number of viewers told me that story and making of this movie were nice. They took the movie positively. Basically I work in a movie after taking a break for two to three years. Paap Punnyo did not reach up to the mark, which were happened in case of movies Monpura, Aynabaji and Debi. Lastly, promotion of Debi was good and viewers watched this movie after coming cinema halls. But I was not satisfied about promotion of Paap Punnyo. I believe in case of Hawa, this thing will not be happened again. I am getting positive response from the viewers after releasing trailer of Hawa. Sumon has made this movie cordially and sincerely. I strongly believe this Hawa will reach into highest pick of its popularity in and outside the country. I request the viewers not to wait to watch this movie on OTT platform and YouTube channels. Please go to the cinema halls for watching this movie. If you go to the theatre halls our film industry will survive.”
Chanchal also said that on the occasion of coming Eid, he is working in dramas under direction of Sokal Ahmed, Niaz Mahbub and Dipu Hazra. Therefore, he is also acting in Shawki Syed directed web series Karagar. Chanchal acted and Salauddin Lavlu directed drama serial Shonda Panda and Sarkar Ahmed directed serial Sarkar & Sons will go on air soon.
