Hospitals and Clinics across the country are running short of medical grade.
Oxygen gas cylinders amid rising number of Coronavirus patients.
A state run of the art liquid oxygen plant is being set up at Syed Nazrul Islam Medical College Hospital in Kishoreganj.
Following this,there would be no need to go to Capital City Dhaka or Mymensingh to fetch oxygen in cylinders for the dying patients of the government hospitals and private clinics .
Director of Syed Nazrul Medical College Hospital Dr.Syed Monjurul Haque said that the capacity of the oxygen tank is 2000 litres of liquid.
A total of 10680000 litres of oxygen will be produced through plant.
Health Secretary Md.Abdul Mannan recently announcement of setting up the plant at the shaheed Syed Nazrul Islam Medical College Hospital.
