Popular singer Ovi’s third solo album titled FA Sumon featuring Ovi has been released at a function held at a city restaurant recently.
The album has been released under the banner of the country’s leading audio production house G-Series’ sister concern Agniveena.
Music of all the tracks of the album were arranged, composed and tuned by FA Sumon.
Lyrics of the tracks were written by Anurup Aich, Rizvi Rahman, Sohag Waziullah, Ivu and Shahid Khan.
Ovi is popularly known as Doyal Ovi in media. Earlier his two solo albums were released. Those were: Gaan-er Michhil-e (2008) and Prem-er Mora Jol-e Dub-e Na (2010).
Ovi’s most hit song is Doyal tomar-o lagiya, which is included in an album titled Prem Shikari.
Ovi has also lent his vocal for playback tracks.
He got the national award in 2001, 2003 and 2004 with one gold medal from the Prime Minister. Therefore, he received Uro-Cola CJFB Award in category of best promising singer.
